Meet The Good Fellas

  • Reeds

    Matthew is one of the most accomplished woodwind players in the Massachusetts area, with his focus being Clarinet, Alto, and Tenor Saxophone. He has played in jazz big bands, pit orchestras, wind ensembles, as well as a variety of smaller groups. Matthew has supported the Taunton youth by participating in several concerts for charity. He is also a four time district player and is currently studying at Bridgewater State University.

  • Trumpet and Flugelhorn in B Flat

    As a Massachusetts All State and four time Southeastern district musician, Adam Pereira is one of Massachusetts’s most experienced trumpet players. He has been the section leader of both a wind ensemble as well as a jazz big band, as well as being in multiple musical pit orchestras. He is also well established in his solo work and has played many events such as weddings, church services, and memorials for veterans. Adam is attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst studying music education.

  • Piano

    Tyler is a very well rehearsed pianist, who has been educated in many styles and techniques of the piano. On top of being one of the top jazz performers, he is also a well renowned classical musician. As one of Taunton’s premiere pianists he has showed his skill playing in big bands wind ensembles, and has performed as an accompanist alongside soloists many times. Alongside many of his other talents, Tyler is also the in house composer for The Good Fellas. He is attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst to study musical performance.

  • Drums

    As a southeastern district jazz drummer, Ben has claimed his spot among the top musicians in the state of Massachusetts. Being well versed in many styles has granted him the opportunity to play in many groups, such as three jazz bands, wind ensembles, and pit orchestras. Ben is attending Emerson College.

“The Good Fellas” is a five person jazz combo band comprised of talented, passionate musicians who bring the magic of live jazz to any venue.

Every Occasion is elevated by live music, and we are well versed in dozens of genres and playing styles. Upbeat, catchy, tunes such as "There Will Never be Another You" are perfect for bringing energy to weddings and parties, and are sure to make the audience tap their feet. Need something a little more laid back? Slow, melodic charts like "Misty" are perfect background music to mingle, dine, and chat over. No matter the audience, no matter the atmosphere, we are guaranteed to have the jazz you need.
